What are tracking credits?
Tracktainer uses a credit-based system for shipment tracking.
Credits allow you to start tracking shipment references such as:
Container Numbers
Bill of Lading Numbers
Booking References
Your available credit balance depends on your Tracktainer plan.
Free credits
New users can start with free tracking credits, allowing them to test Tracktainer before committing to a paid plan.
This gives you an opportunity to add real shipment references and see how tracking works with your own containers.
What happens when my credits run out?
If you use all of your available credits before your subscription renews, you don't necessarily have to wait for the next billing period.
Depending on your account options, you can:
Purchase additional credits
Add extra credits without changing your current subscription.
or
Upgrade your plan
Move to a plan with a larger tracking allowance.
Do unused credits expire?
Credit availability and renewal depend on your active subscription plan.
You can check your current plan, remaining credits, and renewal information from your account or billing section.
Where can I see my remaining credits?
Your available credits are displayed inside your Tracktainer account.
Before creating additional tracking requests, check your remaining balance if you're approaching your plan limit.
Need more tracking capacity?
If you're regularly reaching your credit limit, upgrading your plan may be more suitable than purchasing additional credits individually.
