What is the Archive?
Tracktainer includes an archive function to help separate active operational work from shipments you no longer need in the main working view.
The dashboard's unified shipment structure includes Archived alongside Planned, In Transit, Arrived and Completed shipment views.
Tracktainer's management feature material also describes archive functionality as a way to archive completed work.
Does archiving mean the shipment was cancelled?
No.
These are different concepts.
Cancelled is a tracking status indicating that tracking has stopped.
Archived is an organizational action used to move a shipment out of the active dashboard workflow.
Does archiving delete the shipment?
The material you provided confirms an archive feature, but it does not explicitly state that archiving deletes shipment records. For that reason, the Help Center should not describe Archive as Delete.
It is safer and more accurate to explain it as moving completed or inactive work into the archived area.
When should I archive a shipment?
Archive is useful when a shipment no longer needs to remain in your main day-to-day tracking view.
This keeps the active dashboard easier to manage, especially when you are tracking many shipments.
