How are shipments organized?
Tracktainer brings shipments with different tracking states into the same dashboard.
The current dashboard structure supports visibility across:
Planned
Shipments with planned voyage information.
In Transit
Shipments currently moving through their route.
Arrived
Shipments that have reached their destination port.
Completed
Shipments whose tracking lifecycle has been completed.
Archived
Shipments that have been moved out of your active day-to-day workflow.
These shipment states are specifically referenced in Tracktainer's current dashboard material.
Why are shipment views useful?
When you are managing many shipments, you may not want to review the entire shipment list every time.
Status-based organization helps you focus on the shipments relevant to the task you're currently working on.
For example, you may want to review:
In Transit shipments for current movements,
or
Arrived shipments for destination operations.
Is Archived a shipment tracking status?
Archived should be understood as an organization/management state, rather than the same type of operational shipment status as Planned or In Transit.
Tracktainer's team-management material describes archive functionality as a way to organize completed work.
