What is role-based access?
Tracktainer includes role-based access as part of its team-management tools.
Its purpose is to help control:
who can see and manage what.
This is useful when several people or departments work within the same shipment-management environment.
Why are access controls useful?
Not every person involved in a shipment necessarily needs the same level of access.
For example, shipment information may need to be available across operations, customer service and management while still being managed through an organized workspace.
Tracktainer is designed around this type of shared team workflow.
What roles are available?
The current source material confirms role-based access, but it does not define the exact role names or individual permission levels.
For that reason, we should not publish specific roles such as Admin, Manager, Viewer, or Member in the Help Center until the actual account interface confirms them.
Does role-based access change shipment tracking data?
Access control determines how people interact with workspace information. It does not itself represent a shipment status or tracking milestone.
