A Voyage Planned notification means Tracktainer has received scheduled voyage information for the shipment.

The current notification can include:

• 
  Carrier
  


• 
  Port of Loading
  


• 
  Port of Discharge
  


• 
  ETD
  


• 
  ETA
  


• 
  Transit Time
  

For example, the existing notification shows a shipment planned by Maersk Line with departure from Shanghai and arrival in Rotterdam.

Why is this notification useful?
It gives you the first clear schedule for the shipment once voyage information becomes available.

You can then use the ETD and ETA as the current expected schedule.

Can these dates change later?
Yes.

If the estimated arrival date changes, Tracktainer can send a separate Arrival Date Has Changed notification.
