ETD
ETD is the estimated departure date shown for the shipment.

ETA
ETA is the estimated arrival date shown for the shipment.

Transit Time
When available, Tracktainer can also display the expected transit period between the shipment's departure and arrival.

A current Tracktainer shipment example contains:

Port of Loading: Shanghai (CNSHA)

Port of Discharge: Rotterdam (NLRTM)

Transit Time: 24 days

ETD: 20 Jun 2026

ETA: 14 Jul 2026

These values are shown together in the existing shipment-detail structure.

Can ETA change?
Yes.

An estimated arrival date may later be revised.

Tracktainer can report the previous ETA, new ETA and size of the change.

For example:

14 Jul → 20 Jul 2026

+6 days

Which date should I use?
Use the latest available tracking information displayed for the shipment.

Tracktainer continues monitoring active shipments frequently throughout the day and can reflect new data as it becomes available.
