What does the route show?
Tracktainer can display the shipment journey between its origin and destination ports.

For a direct shipment, the tracking information may appear as:

Shanghai (CNSHA) → Rotterdam (NLRTM)

The existing Planned and Arrived tracking examples display this origin-to-destination structure.

Direct routes
When the shipment route does not show an intermediate transshipment, Tracktainer can label the route:

Direct

Routes with transshipment
Other shipments can include intermediate ports.

For example, an existing Tracktainer In Transit record shows the container moving from Shanghai toward Singapore while the final destination remains Rotterdam.

Can a route change while tracking?
The information shown depends on the latest shipment data available.

Tracktainer can reflect updated routing information when new tracking data is received.
