What does Completed mean?
A shipment is marked Completed when Tracktainer has received all tracking events for that tracking record and tracking is closed.

This wording comes directly from the current Tracktainer Completed notification.

Will I receive more tracking updates?
The Completed state indicates that tracking has been closed.

It is therefore different from Arrived, where shipment progress may still continue after the vessel or shipment reaches the Port of Discharge.

Is Completed the same as empty return completed?
They are related concepts but represented by different notification types in the current system.

Tracktainer also has dedicated Empty Return notifications. For example, when all containers in a shipment have been returned empty, the notification states that tracking is now complete.

For a single container, the empty-return notification similarly states that the container has been returned empty and tracking is complete.

Can I still review the shipment?
Completed refers to the tracking state, not the removal of the shipment information from the tracking record.

Use the shipment's tracking details when you need to review the available route and historical tracking information.
