ETA Changes During a Planned Voyage
Understand how the arrival estimate can change after voyage details have already been received.

Initial voyage information
When Tracktainer receives planned voyage information, it can show an initial ETD and ETA.
In the current Planned notification example, the container is scheduled to:
Depart Shanghai (CNSHA): 20 Jun 2026
Arrive Rotterdam (NLRTM): 14 Jul 2026
The detailed tracking information also records the initial ETA as 14 Jul 2026.
Later ETA update
The ETA-change notification then shows that the Rotterdam arrival estimate has changed:
14 Jul → 20 Jul 2026
representing a 6-day delay.
This demonstrates why a planned ETA should be treated as the current estimate rather than a fixed final date.
