Understanding ETA Change Notifications

 

What does the notification tell me?
When the expected arrival date changes, Tracktainer can send a shipment update.

A current Tracktainer notification uses the title:

MSKU7654321 — Arrival Date Has Changed

The message then explains:

• 
  Destination
  


• 
  Previous arrival date
  


• 
  Revised arrival date
  


• 
  Number of days of delay
  

Example
The current example reports:

Destination: Rotterdam (NLRTM)

Previous ETA: 14 Jul 2026

New ETA: 20 Jul 2026

Change: 6-day delay

What should I do after receiving an ETA-change notification?
The current Tracktainer notification specifically advises the user to update the related delivery schedule accordingly.

Depending on your operation, an ETA change may therefore be relevant to planning around the shipment.

Will the shipment continue to be tracked?
Yes.

An ETA change is a shipment update, not a cancellation or completion event.

Tracking continues under the existing shipment record.
