Milestones for Multi-Container Shipments
Follow each container individually when one booking contains multiple containers.

Why are milestones tracked individually?
Containers belonging to the same booking may not complete operational events at the same time.
Tracktainer therefore keeps container-level progress visible within the shipment.
Example: Gate-Out
A booking containing three containers may show:
2 gated out · 1 pending
Tracktainer can then identify exactly which container is still pending.
Example: Empty Return
The same concept applies later in the shipment lifecycle.
A Tracktainer empty-return notification can show:
2 returned · 1 pending
with the outstanding container displayed separately.
Why is this useful?
Without container-level visibility, an overall shipment status may not tell you whether every container has completed an operational event.
Tracktainer helps answer questions such as:
Have all containers gated out?
Which container is still pending?
Have all empty containers been returned?
Is tracking complete for the shipment?
When is the milestone process complete?
For empty return, Tracktainer can explicitly mark the process complete once all containers have been returned.
